NEW YORK, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale jolted 60 km WSW of Kiska Volcano, Alaska at 22:34:33 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 120 km, was initially determined to be at 51.972 degrees north latitude and 176.7529 degrees east longitude.
