HONG KONG, July 6 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed down 56.75 points, or 0.22 percent, to 25,465.22 points on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 25,436.83 and 25,599.7.

Turnover totaled 78.04 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 9.99 billion U.S. dollars).
