ZHUJI, China, April 13 (Xinhua) -- Dallas Moore scored 34 points and dished out 11 assists to help the Guangzhou Loong Lions clinch the final CBA playoff spot with a 105-94 victory over the Xinjiang Flying Tigers on Tuesday.

Without Donatas Motiejunas and Zhou Qi, Xinjiang couldn't get anything going forward in the game, resulting in a fourth consecutive loss.

The third quarter was an old-school battle of big men with Isaac Haas scoring 11 points and grabbing eight rebounds to give Guangzhou a 12-point lead. Moore later played a key role in the fourth quarter to seal the win for Guangzhou.

Elsewhere, facing the Qingdao Eagles, the Beijing Royal Fighters largely depended on Joseph Young who scored 53 points, but the rest of the team didn't contribute much.

Led by Darius Adams, a third-quarter surge helped Qingdao take down the stretch.

Although Young's three-point play helped Beijing cut the deficit to one point, Adams then hit a 3-pointer that gave Qingdao a 93-87 lead, which was enough to help Qingdao secure a 106-99 win.

After Beijing lost their clutch game, Guangzhou successfully surpassed them to reach the playoffs and faces the Shandong Heroes in the first round of the playoffs.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, seven players scored double-digits as second-seeded Liaoning beat Tianjin 114-106. Shandong overcame Nanjing 114-106, and Zhejiang downed Shanghai 113-103.

The first round of playoffs will start on Friday. Enditem
