BEIJING, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Beijing reported one new locally transmitted COVID-19 case and one asymptomatic case on Monday, the municipal health commission said on Tuesday.
The new confirmed case, aged 63, was reported in the city's Daxing District and is a close contact of a previous case reported in the district.
Related epidemiological investigations are underway.
No new imported suspected or asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported in Beijing on Monday, said the commission. Enditem
