HONG KONG, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection (CHP) reported 38 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Friday, taking its total tally to 9,452.
The new cases included 35 local infections, of which 14 were untraceable, and three imported cases came from Switzerland, the Philippines and Indonesia, according to a CHP press briefing.
Hong Kong's Hospital Authority said 539 COVID-19 patients are currently being treated in public hospitals and the community treatment facility at AsiaWorld-Expo, and 41 patients are in critical condition. Enditem
