BUENOS AIRES, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Striker Ramon Abila scored twice to lead Boca Juniors to a 3-0 home victory over Huracan in Argentina's Primera Division on Sunday.
Abila put the hosts ahead in the 26th minute with a first-time finish from close range after a slide-rule pass from Colombian midfielder Edwin Cardona.
The 31-year-old striker doubled his personal tally on the stroke of halftime when he fired home from the edge of the 18-yard box after a counterattack.
Substitute Agustin Obando completed the rout in the 90th-minute by taking a touch to control Sebastian Villa's cross and then thumping a 25-yard drive into the top left corner.
The result kept Boca at the top of the championship group standings with two wins and a draw, ahead of rivals River Plate on goal difference. River also maintained their unbeaten record on Sunday with a 2-1 home victory over Arsenal de Sarandi.
Elsewhere, Defensa y Justicia won 2-1 at home to Patronato and hosts Racing Club thrashed Godoy Cruz 6-1. Enditem
