A fleet of seven autonomous road pavers and rollers helps pave asphalt on an expressway in Baoshan City, southwest China's Yunnan Province. Navigated by China's BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, the driverless vehicles work collaboratively following the pre-set parameters including speed and trajectory. They may adjust the parameters in real time in line with the site conditions. The fleet of the unmanned equipment makes road construction more intelligent, efficient, and environmental-friendly.
