SHANGHAI, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Export-Import Bank of China (China Exim Bank) on Friday signed contracts on-site with 45 enterprises participating in the ongoing third China International Import Expo (CIIE), providing a total of more than 53 billion yuan (about 800 million U.S. dollars) of financing.

China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group subsidiary CNMC International Trading Co., Ltd., China Aluminum International Trading Group Co., Ltd., and China Co-op Cold Chain and Logistics were among CIIE buyers to receive financing from the bank.

Dong Kegong, finance director of third-time CIIE participant China Aluminum International Trading Group, said the company's raw material purchases from Africa and South America have increased at the third CIIE and are expected to exceed 1 billion yuan.

China Exim Bank has launched a special financial services plan tailored to this year's CIIE, setting up a 350-billion-yuan credit line to support imports.

"We will step up efforts to meet the differentiated financial needs of foreign trade enterprises by increasing credit supply," said Ning Yong, vice president of the bank. Enditem
