BEIJING, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has received good wishes from foreign leaders, political parties and organizations around the world.

The messages speak highly of the CPC's leadership as well as China's socio-economic development and global contributions, and express full confidence that the CPC will lead China to even greater prosperity.

The following is an edited summary of some of these messages.

S. Sudhakar Reddy, general secretary of the Communist Party of India:

"The international community believes that the policies established by the 19th CPC National Congress will help maintain world peace and security, and promote common development."

Sitaram Yechury, general secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist):

"The 19th CPC National Congress will profoundly analyze the current international and domestic situations and comprehensively study the new requirements of China's future development and the new expectations of the Chinese people."

Narayan Man Bijukchhe, president of the Nepal Workers Peasants Party:

"Under the wise leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping, China's progress in economy, defense and other fields has been significant for safeguarding world peace."

C.P. Mainali, general secretary of the Communist Party Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist):

Mian Shehbaz Sharif, president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's Punjab chapter and chief minister of Punjab province:
