HONG KONG, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- The gold price in Hong Kong went up 80 Hong Kong dollars to open at 11,880 dollars (about 1,523.07 U.S. dollars) per tael on Tuesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society. (1 U.S. dollar equals to 7.80 HK dollars)
