KAMPALA, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Libya will feature in the east and central African regional senior challenge cup as guests, a regional football association said on Thursday.
Nicholas Musonye, the Council for East and Central African Football Association (CECAFA) Secretary General told Xinhua that the North African side will join Zimbabwe in the tournament scheduled to start on Nov. 25 to Dec. 9 in Kenya.
Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Sudan and South Sudan will compete the tournament.
Last year CECAFA failed to organize the Senior Challenge Cup after Sudan and Kenya all pulled out of hosting at the last moment.
