TOKYO, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, rising marginally from its levels seen overnight in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.49-50 yen compared with 112.30-40 yen in New York and 112.82-83 yen in 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1781-1782 dollars and 132.53-54 yen against 1.1781-1791 dollars and 132.34-44 yen in New York and 1.1754-1756 dollars and 132.61-65 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
