BEIRUT, July 7 (Xinhua) -- The Lebanese General Security Directorate said Friday that it has arrested a Lebanese suspect linked to the terrorist organizations fighting in Syria.
The Directorate said in a statement that "the suspect had obtained a passport via which he left for Turkey and then entered the Syrian territory with the help of a smuggler."
He went to the Al-Raqqa area and then headed to Iraq, where he stayed in the city of Mosul and fought alongside the terrorist organization, the statement said.
