TOKYO, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 114 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, marginally lower than its levels seen overnight in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 114.11-12 yen compared with 113.94-114.04 yen in New York and 113.77-78 yen in late afternoon trade in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1638-1638 dollars and 132.80-84 yen against 1.1645-1655 dollars and 132.78-88 yen in New York and 1.1818-1819 dollars and 134.46-50 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.
The euro trading at around a three-month low against the dollar on Friday in Tokyo was owing to the European Central Bank's policy decision to moderately rein in its quantitative easing measures missing median market expectations for a more aggressive scaling-back.
