Egypt qualifies for 2018 world cup after 2-1 win over Congo

ALEXANDRIA, Egypt, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- After more than two decades of absence, the Egyptian national soccer team has been qualified to the World Cup finals to be held next year in Russia after their 2-1 win over their Congolese counterpart in the Egyptian seaside city of Alexandria.
