Indian markets open higher

MUMBAI, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened higher Monday. Equity benchmarks started off the week on a strong note, largely driven by Infosys.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 31,750.53, 154.47 points or 0.51 percent up compared to its previous close at 31,596.06.
