PHNOM PENH, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn will pay an official visit to Myanmar from July 10 to 11 to further enhance relationship between the two countries, according to a Foreign Ministry statement on Friday.
It will be Sokhonn's first visit to Myanmar since he took office in April 2016.
During the visit, the Cambodian top diplomat will meet with his Myanmar counterpart Aung San Suu Kyi and pay a courtesy call on Myanmar president U Htin Kyaw, the statement said.
It added that Sokhonn's visit "aims to further strengthen bilateral ties and explore more mechanism to promote the existing cooperation in bilateral and multilateral frameworks between the two countries."
