TEHRAN, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Sarmayeh Bank retained the title of the 2017 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship, local media reported on Friday.
Sarmayeh Bank defeated Toyoda Gosei Trefuerza from Japan in straight sets (39-37, 25-14, 25-23) in the final on Thursday.
Al Arabi of Qatar beat Kazakhstan's Altay 3-1 (25-22, 13-25, 20-25, 19-25) in the bronze medal match.
The 2017 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship was held in Ninh Bình and Nam Dinh, Vietnam from June 28 to July 6, 2017. Sarmayeh Bank qualified for the 2018 Club World Championship as Asia's representative.
