As of Friday, 1,700,790 tests for the virus have been conducted across Belarus.
MINSK, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- Belarus reported 243 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Friday, taking the nationwide count to 75,230, according to the country's health ministry.
There have been 131 new recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 73,098, the ministry added.
So far, 773 people have died of the disease in the country, including two over the past 24 hours, it said.
As of Friday, 1,700,790 tests for the virus have been conducted across Belarus, including 14,572 over the past 24 hours, according to official figures. ■
