Russian State ballet brings Tchaikovsky's iconic 'Swan Lake' to Beijing
BEIJING, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Classic ballet 'Swan Lake' will be brought to the stage of Tianqiao Theater in Beijing from Friday to Sunday by the Russian State ballet.
Swan Lake is a classic Russian romantic ballet based on a prince's love for a graceful swan princess, replete with haunting music, exquisite dance and an evocative score from well-known Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
The ballet has captured the imagination of many generations, and its fairy-tale mystery and romance continues to fascinate audiences around the world.
