SINGAPORE, April 11 (Xinhua) -- Debt-ridden Indian carrier Jet Airways has suspended both its flights to and from Singapore on Thursday, with no indication of when or whether the services will resume.

In a statement posted on its Facebook page, Singapore Changi Airport said: "Jet Airways (9W) has suspended its services to and from Singapore until further notice. Passengers are advised to contact their booking agent or the airline directly for available options."

Jet Airways, which has been struggling to continue its operations, has not paid salaries to a section of its staff, particularly pilots, engineers and general managers for the past three months.

The private airline has also deferred interest and rental payments to its lessors due to the ongoing cash-crisis.
