Chongqing stun reigning champions Shanghai SIPG 3-2 in Chinese Super League

BEIJING, April 5 (Xinhua) -- Chongqing stunned reigning champion Shanghai SIPG 3-2 thanks to a last-minute own goal by goalkeeper Yan Junling in the fourth round of Chinese Super League (CSL) on Friday.

The reigning champions had a three-game winning streak before they hosted Chongqing. The hosts started attacking fast, but several shots went wide. In 30th minute into the game, Adrian Mierzejewski of Chongqing broke the deadlock with a one-on-one goal against goalkeeper Yan Junling. Fernando Conceicao scored one goal to give Chongqing a 2-0 lead in 40th minute.

Lv Wenjun and Hulk together earned two goals to equalize the score within only five minutes in the second half. The draw remained till the injury time as Yan Junling of Shanghai made an own goal when saving a cross.

Elsewhere, Beijing Guoan won over Jiangsu Suning 3-0, and Guoan made history with a four-game winning streak at the beginning of CSL new season. Shandong held off Shenzhen 1-1.
