HANOI, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- The Lao men's team and the women's team from Vietnam's central Quang Tri province finished first at the two-day international dragon boat race which concluded here on Sunday.
The men's team from Vietnam's central Binh Thuan province and the women's team from the country's northern Thai Nguyen province ranked second.
A total of 29 teams from China's Hong Kong, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam competed at the race, rowing a distance of 600 meters on West Lake in Hanoi.
