KABUL, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Casualties were feared as an explosion hit Deh Afghanan area in downtown Kabul on Monday, an Afghan official said.
The area is close to the foreign ministry, the presidential palace, a shopping mall and a hotel frequented by foreigners and government officials.
