GABORONE, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- President of Botswana Mokgweetsi Masisi on Saturday described the just-ended Beijing summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) as an unquestionable accomplishment.

Addressing journalists upon his return from FOCAC at the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport in the southern African nation's capital city, Gaborone, Masisi hailed the summit as a "resounding success."

"The FOCAC Beijing summit was as the previous one held in South Africa focused on development support provided by China for African countries. It was a resounding success to say the least," said Masisi.

China and Botswana also pledged continued commitment to deepening relations, he said.

Unity Dow, Botswana's minister of international affairs and cooperation, hailed China for organizing a forum that has brought African countries under one room to discuss one common thing -- development.
