LONDON, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 1.04 percent, or 76.75 points, to close at 7,460.65 points.
Royal Dutch Shell A, a major oil and gas company, soared 3.99 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Worldpay Group and Royal Dutch Shell B increased by 3.94 percent and 3.71 percent respectively.
The multinational pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical company ConvaTec Group was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 2.46 percent.
