CHANGCHUN, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- Sui Xin from Jilin won men's 500 meters while Zhang Qi from Changchun won women's 500 meters in the fourth leg of Chinese short track speedskating league on Saturday.
In the men's competition, Heilongjiang ice skating team enjoyed a very good semifinal contest and had two skaters Zhou Yingjie and Cheng Xiansong in the final. Chen Xiansong took the lead at first before Sui Xin from Jilin caught up with him and won the first place at 42.897. Yang Shui from the People's Liberation Army ice base crossed the line second, but was later disqualified for impeding.
In the women's competition, Zhang Qichao kept the lead all the way to win the championship in 44.845. Cao Yuhang from Jilin took the silver medal, followed by Zhang Yuan from Heilongjiang in the third place.
