BERLIN, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- The German economy will grow by 2.0 percent in 2017, according to an official estimate presented by Finance Minister Peter Altmaier on Thursday.
The figures were presented in Berlin following a three-day assessment of the government's fiscal revenues. Altmaier also predicted that the German economy would continue to grow by 1.9 percent in 2018.
According to official figures, the federal, state and municipal levels of German governments can expect total tax revenue of 734.2 billion euros (852.3 billion U.S. dollars) in 2017, 1.8 billion euros more than the previous forecast in May.
