U.S. stocks close lower amid reports, economic data

NEW YORK, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended lower on Wednesday as investors were digesting the latest earnings reports and economic data from the country.

The Dow lost 0.48 percent, and the S&P 500 erased 0.47 percent, while the Nasdaq decreased 0.52 percent.
