TOKYO, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar hovered in the upper 113 yen zone Wednesday in Tokyo amid market speculations on U.S. President Donald Trump's choice for the next Federal Reserve chair.
At 5:00 p.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 113.89-90 yen compared with 113.85-95 yen in New York and 113.66-68 yen in Tokyo at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. It moved between 113.75 yen and 113.98 yen during the day.
The euro fetched 1.1760-1762 dollars and 133.94-98 yen against 1.1756-1766 dollars and 133.95-134.05 yen in New York and 1.1755-1756 dollars and 133.61-65 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon.
