U.S. dollar climbs against most major currencies

NEW YORK, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar rose against most major currencies on Tuesday as investors' attention turned to who will be the next head of the U.S. Federal Reserve.

In late New York trading, the euro increased to 1.1759 dollars from 1.1734 dollars, while the dollar bought 113.86 Japanese yen, higher than 113.74 yen in the previous session.
