MUMBAI, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed flat on a positive note Friday, driven by hope that fiscal deficit may not increase from its FY18 targeted level of 3.2 percent after the government stuck to its budgeted market borrowing for the fiscal year.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 31,283.72, 1.24 points or 0.00 percent up compared to its previous close at 31,282.48.
