Turkey starts drills near Iraqi border ahead of KRG referendum

ANKARA, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- Turkey started a military drill near the border with Iraq on Monday morning, just a week before the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) holds an independence referendum, Turkish General Staff said in a written statement on Monday.
