SINGAPORE, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- Singaporean stocks finished lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) dipping 0.05 points to close at 3,228.51.
A total of 1.39 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 884.4 million Singapore dollars (about 658.97 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 214 to 192.
The STI index went up 0.5 points, or 0.02 percent, to close at 3,228.56 last Friday.
