JALALABAD, Afghanistan, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- At least one person was killed and four others injured as a roadside bomb targeted police vehicle in Behsoud district of eastern Afghanistan's Nangarhar province on Sunday, spokesman for the provincial government Attaullah Khogiani said.
"A mine planted by militants on a road in Behsoud district to target security forces but the device went off when the vehicle of a commander of Border Police Force was passing the area killing one civilian on the spot and injuring four others," Khogiani told reporters here.
The injured persons include a security personnel and three civilians including a woman and a child, the official added.
