MUMBAI, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed higher Wednesday. Benchmark indices maintained strong gains, tracking positive European peers after easing of geopolitical tensions in Asia.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 31,646.46, 258.07 points or 0.82 percent up compared to its previous close at 31,388.39.
