Indian markets open higher

MUMBAI, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened higher on Wednesday after a market turmoil in the previous session.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 31,555.48, 167.09 points or 0.53 percent up compared to its previous close at 31,388.39.
