KIEV, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine is holding negotiations with Poland over a possible creation of a joint museum space within the framework of the cross-border cultural cooperation, the Ukrainian government said Tuesday.
The project envisages holding joint exhibitions, training courses for art restorers and roundtables for museum workers in Ukraine's western city of Lviv and Poland's eastern city of Lublin, said the statement on the government website.
The establishment of the joint museum space is aimed at preserving Ukrainian and Polish common cultural heritage and promoting cultural exchanges between the two countries, the statement said.
The cost of the project is estimated at 1.7 million euros (about 2.04 million U.S. dollars).
