BERLIN, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- A Munich court Monday opened proceedings against a German arms dealer who allegedly sold weapons and ammunition to the shooter of a bloody rampage in Munich.
The 32-year-old Philipp K. faces charges of nine counts of manslaughter and illegal arms dealing including the sale of a firearm and at least 450 rounds of ammunition to Munich attacker David S.
The highly anticipated court opened with delay after the court received additional information concerning the case on Sunday night.
The mentally-illed killer shot nine people dead and then killed himself at a shopping mall in July 2016.
