6.0-magnitude quake hits 132km SSW of Gataivai, Samoa -- USGS

HONG KONG, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.0 magnitude jolted 132km SSW of Gataivai, Samoa at 06:01:47 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 14.839 degrees south latitude and 172.956 degrees west longitude.
