Hong Kong stocks close 0.12 pct higher

HONG KONG, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 31.67 points, or 0.12 percent, to 27,562.68 points on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 27,508.11 and 27,615.03. Turnover totaled 80.66 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 10.32 billion U.S. dollars).
