Plane from Hurghada manages to land in Slovakia after discovering gear problem

BRATISLAVA, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- A charter flight of AMC Airlines managed to land in Slovakia on Wednesday after finding problems with landing gear.

The flight from Hurghada to Sliac airport in central Slovakia had serious problems with landing, the Slovak Defence Ministry spokesperson Danka Capakova said on Wednesday.

"The airplane Boeing 737 had problems with the landing gear. The military and civil rescuers were involved in the intervention on the runway. No one aboard was hurt," stressed Capakova.
