LONDON, July 18 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.19 percent, or 13.91 points, to close at 7,390.22 points.
G4S, a British multinational security services company, soared 3.43 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. British Land and Royal Mail increased by 3.15 percent and 3.08 percent, respectively.
The global information services group Experian was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its share price losing 2.05 percent. Barclays, a major British bank, dropped 1.91 percent. Wolseley, a multinational building materials distribution company, fell 1.39 percent. Enditem
