SINGAPORE, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) climbed 17.34 points, or 0.54 percent, to close at 3246.35.
A total of 1.88 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 857.6 million Singapore dollars (about 619.44 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 249 to 193.
The STI index rose 2.67 points, or 0.08 percent, to close at 3229.01 last Friday. Enditem
