FRANKFURT, July 7 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 7.43 points, or 0.06 percent, to close at 12,388.68 points.
Energy group RWE won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.91 percent. Energy group E.ON and German airlines Lufthansa rose by 2.41 percent and 1.99 percent respectively.
European mass media company ProSiebenSat.1 lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 1.29 percent. European health care company Fresenius SE and Deutsche Post went down by 1.28 percent and 0.93 percent respectively.
German insurance and financial services company Allianz was the most-traded share with a turnover of 254.93 million euros (290.92 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
