U.S. dollar rises against other major currencies

NEW YORK, July 3 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar traded higher against other major currencies on Monday, as investors were digesting a batch of economic data from the country.

In late New York trading, the euro fell to 1.1360 dollars from 1.1410 dollars, while the dollar bought 113.39 Japanese yen, higher than 112.42 yen in the previous session.
