PARIS, June 23 (Xinhua) -- A double-decker tourist bus hit the wall of a bridge in Paris on Friday, wounding four, local media reported.
A around 1 p.m. local time (1100GMT), a bus transporting 18 tourists tried to enter the Alexandre III tunnel which is forbidden for 2.7-meter-high vehicles, the daily Le Parisien reported.
Four tourists were injured with one being in critical conditions after the bus top deck struck the bridge, it added.
According to Chinese embassy, one Chinese tourist was injured in the incident.
Le Figaro quoted police as saying that the bus has changed its usual route due to traffic diversion which was imposed following the Olympic Day event in Paris.
No further details have been given on the tourists' nationalities by authorities.
