VLADIVOSTOK, Russia, June 12 (Xinhua) -- At least 11 people died and around 40 people were injured in a bus crash Sunday night in Zabaykalsky Krai, southeastern Russia, the region's investigation commission said Monday.
The bus with 51 passengers on board crashed into the roadbed and overturned on a highway connecting the cities of Irkutsk and Chita, the commission said in a statement.
Among the injured, 34 are in serious condition, the statement said.
The commission is investigating the causes of the incident.
