SINGAPORE, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 5.26 points, or 0.16 percent, to close at 3,230.49.
A total of 1.94 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1048.3 million Singapore dollars (759.8 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 225 and 203.
The STI index lost 2.16 points, or 0.07 percent, to close at 3,236.15 Tuesday.
