PARIS, June 5 (Xinhua) -- French stock market index, the CAC 40, dropped 0.66 percent and closed at 5,307.89 points on Monday.
The CAC 40 of Paris dropped 35.52 points on Monday, with three of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.
The top three gainers were VEOLIA ENVIRONNEMENT, up 0.62 percent, SAFRAN, up 0.36 percent, and SAINT GOBAIN, up 0.04 percent.
The three companies whose stock dropped most were SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, down 1.71 percent, UNIBAIL-RODAMCO, down 1.65 percent, and MICHELIN, down 1.29 percent.
